Tecno mobile has released the phantom 8 on the 22nd of October 2017 and this has got many lovers of this device talking. Many expected to see the phantom 7 to be a replacer of the phantom 6 plus. But to their surprise, tecno skipped the phantom 7 and released the Phantom 8. Many think that tecno want to also stay in the race of the “8” since this year we have seen many of the eights been released by the device manufactures.
The release of the iPhone 8 and 8+ has made many of these manufacturers to also come out with the “eight version” of their device even though most of them did not release the 7. Recently, Samsung came out with the Galaxy Note 8, Nokia release Nokia 8 and tecno as one of the key player in the market has also come out with the phantom 8 in other to stay in the race.
Tecno called this new smartphone the “Diamond fire” and is yet to explain what it means by that. As expected, this new model of tecno device came with a lot of improved and additional features and in this post, we are going to discover all the features in details.
Starting with the camera, the Phantom 8 comes with 12MP & 13MP Rear Cameras and 20MP front with Bright Selfie. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat with a 6GB RAM and a 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB.

It worth knowing that, the new Phantom 8 battery capacity has been reduced to 36000mAh as compare to the phantom 6plus which is 4050mAh.
