How To Get A Verified Paypal Account in Ghana

PayPal, as known to many is one of the best and secured mode of payment for anyone who is interested in conducting business online. With PayPal one can easily send and receive payment for goods and services from anywhere on the globe. Not only that, you can boost your Facebook page by paying from your PayPal account, buy Apps on playstore, music from iTunes, books and other goods from eBay, amazon and alibaba with your PayPal balance. But unfortunately, Ghana alongside with some other Africa countries has been blacklisted from using PayPal due to some reasons known to only the providers of this platform.

How To Get A Verified Paypal Account in Ghana

What do I mean by blacklisted? These means  the general public cannot simply visit  www.paypal.com and create an account, that is because you will be required to use your Ghanaian details to sign up which is impossibly. Even though some people have developed a way to find themselves a PayPal account I Ghana by changing their ip address, it still not enough because, PayPal can easily detect and limit those accounts.

But the good things is, there is a way one can get himself a purely Ghanaian PayPal account without using vpn or using the stealth way. What makes it genuine or legal is that with this method you can create a PayPal account with your own Ghanaian details and use this account to pay and receive money anywhere without any limitation. To create any PayPal account you will need the following Ghanaian details to sign up:

Full name (first and last) – make sure you have that same name on any identity document like; passport, national ID, driver’s license or Voters ID.
ID number – it must be from any of the above mentioned Identity documents corresponding with the name you provided in (1).

Residential address – it includes your house address which must be found on any legal document like utility bills (electricity bill, water bill, etc.) also your town and region.
Email and Contact – it must not have been used for any PayPal account (either closed account, limited account or an existing account) before.

Also, you will at times receive a security code from PayPal on your phone (sim – the Ghanaian number you provided) for confirmation when there is security breach as to whether someone is trying to login from an unusual location ( different country IP address ) or when you use the account on an unauthorized (hacking) site and the rest. To my understanding, this is also one of the reasons why this method is genuine and legal because assuming it is stealth, why would they send confirmation code to a Ghanaian sim card knowing better the country code.

VERIFICATION: After the account has been set up successfully and confirmed (activated) from your email with the link they (PayPal) sent to you, you will have to go ahead and verify it. With the account creation even robot can do, but with the verification, it can’t. PayPal account verification simply means, linking a card (visa or master) or bank account (not applicable in Ghana unless you get an offshore bank account) to your PayPal and confirming it to remove the withdrawal limit. Without verifying the account, you can only receive payments but you can’t send payment.  NB: if you don’t have a visa or master cards don’t worry, I will help you acquire some online.

DEPOSITING & WITHDRWAL: Many would be wondering how you can fund cash out your PayPal account balance as you are in Ghana. It’s very simple; there are Ghanaian banking and finance company that does that within some few minutes using Mobile Money or Bank Transfer. Also, the other way you can use to deposit or withdraw your PayPal balance is by selling it to merchant/dealer or a person who wants to load his account and the otherwise.
