So in this post, I’m going to show you how to check whether the infinix phone you are to buy or you are already using is fake or genuine.
To determine whether the infinix phone you are to buy or using is genuine or fake you will need three things:
That’s the IMEI number of the phone, the VC of the phone and the battery serial number.
It is easy to check the IMEI. Just go to Settings >> About Phone >> Status >> IMEI information and you will get it. Or you can just dial *#06#, the universal code for checking IMEI.
The VC number is found beneath the battery or on the battery.
The battery serial number can be easily seen on the unit (the battery) itself
Once you have these three things then you are now ready to begin with your check.
First of all, make sure you have an internet connection and then open your browser either on your smartphone or laptop.
Once your browser is open, type in the below URL (http://gc.infinixmobility.com/) in the address bar of your browser. Once the site is opened, you will be required to enter the IMEI, the CV and the serial number of the phone.
Now enter the required information and then tap or click on submit.
Now the information of the phone will be shown to you (A message will appear telling you whether infinix phone/battery you’ve tested is fake or original). From there you can see whether the phone is original /genuine or not. That’s all...
